Outdoor playtimes

It is feeling like autumn here this week - I like it! We joined 8 other home educating families at the park yesterday and Harry and Peter had a great time for more than 2 hours. Exhibition Park is near the City Centre and built on lots of sand so we took buckets and spades to play with. Newcastle has lots of great parks and we make good use of them. 

We joined a friend and her 3 year old daughter for a trip to a lovely artisan bread bakery in Whitley Bay this morning, followed by a play in another fabulous little playground overlooking the coast. We had coffee and ice-creams then the boys ate their rosemary and potato bread at the park too. Harry was having a nice chat with an 18 month old girl as he pushed her on the roundabout!
