Puffy painting

Puffy painting has been on my list to try for a while and we had a couple of spare hours yesterday so we had a go. We mixed shaving foam, glue and paint to make our puffy mixture and they really seemed to enjoy it. Harry enjoyed the mixing element - he loves it when we make potions and Peter seemed to like the feel of it much more than normal paint. They created some pretty bubblegum colours and we were interested in the fact that the colours stay stripy and swirly if you don't fully mix it all.

  2. That looks great! I love the fact that you had them painting in the nude (or, at least, topless). Probably a very sensible idea :) I once read about puffy paint involving baking powder (I think) - maybe it puffed up later, when you heat it with a hair dryer?? Must google!
