Cousins and Vikings

Harry and Peter are delighted to have their bigger cousins visiting this week from Lancaster, with Stuart's sister and brother-in-law. We went to the Hancock museum today to see a mock Viking settlement. We held some weapons, saw wooden spoon carving, watched a fire cooking a stew and wove some bracelets. The boys all enjoyed a battle enactment!

We made some playdough this afternoon which did a great job of occupying the age range of 3 to 10!

They have been playing lots in the garden together too, making loom bands and Hama beads and playing board games. We have a few more trips planned too so it will be a fun and tiring week!
