Summer singing

We had a lovely time at a music session today - Songs to Sing in the Garden. It was led by people from The Sage Gateshead music team who were dressed as a grasshopper and a butterfly. We sang about the creatures we might find in the garden and the sun and rain that make things grow in the garden. We did lots of garden creature movement - wriggling like worms, fluttering like butterflies and hopping like frogs. Harry and Peter really enjoyed it and Harry participated really well as one of the older ones, shouting his ideas when the children were asked to contribute.

We came home into our garden, where the boys played in the paddling pool for rest of the afternoon.
